work issues
Greetings. We have been very busy here since the site was launched a few weeks ago. I am happy so many of you have found your way here. I am hopeful that you find my readings helpful.
This week I would like to share the story of Karla. Her concern was about her job. She has been on it for over 17 years and is afraid she is being forced out. She's not sleeping, she's gaining weight from over-eating. She says that everyone at her office is either 20 years younger or bitterly complaining. She feels fat and out of style. She wants to quit her job but her family needs the money, and more importantly, the benefits. Karla is feeling trapped in a job she used to love before she got "so freakin' old".
I laid out a 6 card spread for Karla.
Card 1 is the King of Pentacles, upright
Card 2 is 5 of Wands, upright
Card 3 is 7 of Swords, reversed
Card 4 is 9 of Wands, upright
Card 5 is 5 of Pentacles, upright
Card 6 is Knight of Wands, upright
From her reading it appears that Karla and her family are at a crossroads. She has 3 teenage children so this is not surprising. It is normal and natural for them to begin to strike out on their own. I advised Karla to stay with her job for the time being. I suggested that she do some volunteer work with an organization that is near and dear to her heart. She would be needed and would be invigorated by the challenge and teamwork of the job, something she is not getting at her day job.
I also suggested that Karla and her husband take a mini vacation alone. They both need to disconnect from their everyday lives and rediscover each other and what brings them passion.
Karla is in for a major life change in the very near future that will dramatically alter their lives, in a positive way. What was once blocked and impassable will soon become clear and will flow. I asked that Karla be open to any changes that may come her way.
I ask prayers and blessings upon Karla and her family.
